Climate: Castilla-La Mancha is part of España Seca (Dry Spain), so you can safely assume that it receives very, very little rainfall. Winters can often see the temperature dropping below 0 °C here, so frosts are plentiful, while the summer months tend to be very hot and sunny.
You should know... Home to over a dozen of Spain’s top wine producers, this central region produces nearly half of the country’s entire wine output. Carlos Falcó Fernandez de Córdova has had a huge impact on this region, and his work has done much in the way of making a place for its wines amongst some of the most respected in Spain.
